ABOUT US
MIAT Music Club or popularly known as MMC, is a music club community of students from Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology ( UniKL-MIAT ) located at Jenderam Hilir, Dengkil, Selangor D.E ( Main Campus ). Our club are filled aircraft engineering students that are passionate to music as well regardless of talented, gifted and such. Our job is to unexposed and create a platform for the students of UniKL-MIAT to show their talents in performing musical show or manage a musical related event such as Battle of The Band and so on. This club has been established in UniKL-MIAT for 7 years.
Local Music And Art Festival MIAT 17 or can be shortened as LoMAF MIAT 17 and #LoMAFMIAT17 is an art festival that includes the music and art. It is held in UniKL MIAT main campus ( Dengkil ) on 4th and 5th November 2017. This event is hosted by MIAT Music Club ( MMC ) with the help of other clubs in UniKL MIAT which is Click And Snap MIAT, MIAT Language Club, SISPA Mahasiswa UniKL MIAT, MIAT Bikers Club, EdiComm UniKL MIAT, Persatuan Seni Silat Cekak UniKL MIAT, MIAT Career and Councelling Club and as well Penyayang UniKL MIAT. In future collaboration, it is planned as well to collaborate this event with NGOs.
Our objective for this event is to create awareness and exposed the local talents that has been in our country ( Malaysia ) to everyone. We wanted to show that local musics and arts are as well competitive with international standards. For example, we have Yuna, a Malaysian singer who is now a international artist and many more to come. This event also helps those independence artist to develop and show their creativity and performance to all in other words, a platform for the local indie artists.
